On November 5th 2007, 140 people from many different obesity related fields came together to hear new research and to discuss future action which they believe needs to be taken to reverse the obesity epidemic.

The multidisciplinary group of attendees included health specialists, community groups, academics, researchers, economists, urban planners, local government, agriculturalists, charity, psychologists, educators, physical fitness experts, media, business/food industry and government policy makers, all currently involved in addressing the problem of obesity in one way or another.
